JROTC program

The Norwalk High School community offers a diversity of activities, clubs and programs for students, staff and parents. Some of the clubs, such as the ski club, are seasonal but other clubs are year long. Participation in extracurricular activities expands a student's life and increases parental involvement. This action enriches everyone's life.

Key Club - a volunteer organization that strives to encourage community service, among our youth, not only for the betterment of society, but as a learning experience for our students. Key Club provides situation in which students express kindness and generosity in order to make a difference in our world.

Latin Club - a school activity that any student can join. In this club, we practice trivia, make "lumpies" or Roman dolls of dough, enjoy holiday parties, and just get together and have fun. We usually meet once or twice a month. If you have any questions, or want further information, contact Mrs. Driver or the club president, Diana Cooke.

Mock Trial Club - participants role-play an actual court case, learning the rule of law with the help of a practicing attorney. Preparation and research culminate to a competition in the Stamford Court House where students argue both sides of the case.

Paw Print - the Journalism Class will be producing monthly issues of Paw Prints. The paper's goal is to be the hub of the school news communications, a forum for creativity and a way to spotlight the members of our rich and diverse school community. Students who are not in journalism are welcome to work on the paper and submit work.

Here are the Class Advisors:     Class Dues are $40 for Freshmen, Sophomores and Juniors; and $40 for Seniors.  You may pay the outstanding amount at one time.
