Philosophy & Goals: |
Norwalk High School, in partnership with its diverse community, is committed to provide an education in an atmosphere of mutual respect. In order to encourage intellectual, ethical, social, and physical growth, the individual needs of students will be recognized so that the highest expectations held by all will be achieved. As students participate in a learner-centered environment, they will be encouraged to be aggressive, active learners, so that they can become critical thinkers, problem solvers, and effective communicators. With these skills, the student will have the tools to adapt to the ever-changing technology of our multicultural society.
Consistent with this philosophy, representatives from the community, Board of Education, faculty, and students have determined intellectual, ethical, social and physical goals.
