Updated Bus Schedule for the 2009-2010 School Year! Note: Courtesy Pass Lottery Happening Soon! Get your applications in to the school AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! You only need to apply for a Courtesy Bus Pass if you are living within walking distance of the school, but are near the distance limit, and there is a bus stop near your house. If you are over the distance limit from the school, you don't have to worry - your child is considered a bus rider, and a bus pass has been created for him or her. Bus passes will be distributed during the second week of school. If you are not sure if your child is a rider or a walker, please contact Mrs. Pogany in the Main Office - 899-2910 x17202. We have a book of addresses that will tell us if you are a "walker" or a "rider."

Nathan Hale Middle School is located at 176 Strawberry Hill Avenue, Norwalk, Connecticut 06851. Norwalk Transit District Wheels Buses go directly by Nathan Hale School. The Wheels Bus costs $1.25, and includes free transfers. Take the bus from your starting point to the Pulse Point in downtown Norwalk. Switch to Wheels Route #7 which goes up Westport Avenue, turns onto Strawberry Hill Avenue and passes Norwalk High School, Naramake Elementary School and Natha Hale. It loops through the parking lot at Norden/Gibbs College and turns around to travel the same route as it came. Parents - we do not sell tokens, or give them out. Please send your child in with a token if you want him/her to take the bus. We cannot allow your child to take the Wheels Bus without your written permission, signed on your child's Pink Emergency Form.
