Join the Naramake PTO and Support your child's education! Welcome! The Naramake Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) extends a warm welcome to new and returning Naramake families. We hope you had a fantastic summer and we look forward to a fun and engaging school year! We started off with the Welcome Picnic and are planning many more family and in-school events. Who are we? The Naramake PTO is a parent and teacher organization whose goal is to enrich the educational experience of all students. With your support and involvement, we fund events such as Pride Day, enrichment programs, family evening events, class field trips, 3 for 1 Book Exchange, Teacher Appreciation Day, class funds for extra supplies and much more! How do we do it? Only with your support and involvement! We raise money by organizing several fundraising activities throughout the school year such as the PTO Membership campaign, Scholastic Fall Book Fair (which helps buy books for our school library), fall fundraiser, bake sales, silent auction and others. We also ask for volunteers (parents, guardians, relatives, caregivers and friends) to run and help at events. How can you get involved? Become a member of the Naramake PTO! Your $5 PTO membership contribution is greatly needed to help fund the programs planned for Naramake students and families this school year. Please join the PTO, even if you are unable to volunteer, your $5 contribution will make a difference! The monies raised are used to enrich and support the experience of approximately 380 students here at Naramake: the PTO spends about $20,000 per year, about $50 per student! Join us for the next PTO General Meeting on January 25 @ 6:30 p.m. a spokesperson form Junior Achievment and Mr. Henry are the guest speakers and learn more about the projects and programs the PTO is working on this year!
